Dear Fred and other Gotham friends:

Dreams of pending disaster are very common throughout all of our lives.
Usually they end right before the disaster happens. I have always thought
in my own life and in that of my patients that this kind of our dream is a
replay of childhood when we are small, the world is big, and we don't have
much control over our lives.

I think that in times when the national and international mood plays on our
own individual version of being out of control as well as the realty, these
dreams often recur.
