[Fredslist] Make A Pitch For your Cause -- It works!!! Really!

Gotham,

I offer each of you a lot of notice.

If it means I get a mass of emails to moderate next Monday.  So be it!

Make use of Gotham’s "MAD Mondays" to promote your charity or a cause.

It remains one of Gotham’s newest feature to “exploit” (intended choice of words) on Fredslist.

MAD serves as an acronym for Make A Difference.

From experience, I know it works.

I made a pitch on Monday and it raised $450 to support the senior center/ senior citizens agency where I chair the board and serve with two other members of our tribe.

So give it a try — commit to posting this coming Monday.

Concerning requests to support Charities on Fredslist – MAD Mondays:

Gotham also seeks to encourage member interaction and charitable causes. Where you seek to share news of a charitable cause you support and seek support from others in Gotham, please follow these guidelines:
(1) Describe the charity, and the event;

(2) Please do not include links to sign up, RSVP, etc. or pricing;

(3) Make yourself the contact so that YOU will provide anyone who responds with interest or a request for more information;

(4) So if a cause or charity honors someone in our tribe and you want to organize a table or two, please provide the honoree, date, place and time but no costs and to contact you for information.

Charitable emails may be posted only on MAD Mondays. That stands for “Make a Difference”. Please send your email to fredslist at gothamnetworking.com on Monday before 4:00 p.m. and include “MAD Monday” in the subject line.
