[Fredslist] Is there financial assistance available in NY for self employed/ sole proprietors suffering income loss from COVID-19?

Hi,

Does anyone know of NY City or State resources available to people who are self-employed/sole proprietors dealing with financial hardship due to the COVID-19 shutdowns?

As far as I know only an employee who has been laid off from a business with 1 or more employees is eligible to apply for unemployment insurance.  Are there resources available to self-employed individuals i.e.  sales reps, therapists, web designers, coders, personal trainers, designers, photographers, etc.?
