[Fredslist] Gotham Update Regarding Coronavirus

Dear Gotham:

Here at Gotham we have been closely monitoring the evolving and fluid situations involving coronavirus - COVID 19.  First and foremost, we are concerned about the safety and health of all of our members and our community at large.  We wanted to share a few thoughts so that everyone knows we all take this seriously, are following developments and planning ahead.

In these trying times, staying in touch with your Gotham family is even more important.  Gotham is an incredible wealth of expertise and talent. Please lean on us.

Following the recommendations of our public health officials, we have decided to take the following steps for the remainder of this month.


*       Technology is going to help us through this.  All of our meetings through March will be conducted through Zoom.  Please keep the date and time on your calendar!    Your GC will communicate with you with details about how to sign in.  And of course, if you have any problems, don't hesitate to ask.



*       We have expanded the expertise on our "Advocates" to address issues specific to Coronavirus.  Inquiries through fredslist relative to Coronavirus will be screened with Advocates' careful eyes.


*       Starting next week, we will have weekly open conference calls to discuss concerns or issues regarding Coronavirus.  Any member can join just by calling in.   Our goal is to enhance communication so that we can all learn from each other's experiences.  These calls will be on Tuesdays at 5 pm starting on March 17 - you can call 646-854-1370 (No PIN Required).


We are a family.  We will get through this together and will keep you updated.
