Happy New Year Everyone!  Please plan to kick off 2020 with Gotham LI Legal on Thursday January 16, 2020 at 8:00AM at the Inn at Fox Hollow located at 7755 Jericho Turnpike in Woodbury. A full breakfast will be served.

Our very own Tax Certiorari lawyer Mike Reynolds will be leading a discussion on your property tax bill, and what’s behind all of those numbers.  EVERY taxpayer needs to know what goes into a tax bill and nearly EVERY taxpayer should be protesting, EVERY year.  The approach to assessments varies from New York City to Montauk which makes for an interesting collection of challenges and solutions for property owners.  With experience as both a Deputy County Attorney, and as a petitioner’s attorney in the field of tax certiorari, Michael P. Reynolds will discuss the numbers behind your tax bill, and what the County is looking at in determining fair market value, and what it isn’t.  Remember, this year’s deadline to file a tax grievance is March 1, 2020 in NYC and Nassau County.
