[Fredslist] Rub a Dub Dub ... Happy Hour!

On Friday past,Gotham HAPPY HOUR was happy indeed. 

Paula Oleska(Natural Intelligence Systems)demonstrated her skills as both chanteuse and lyricist. It was great to have Rita Sue Siegel with us for the entire time! 

Norman Spizz (SPN Music and Entertainment) started off a round of stories that covered decades of combined experiences involving:
purloined hotel room keys - one involving Jayne Mansfield; 
amazing road trips; a performance by Sinatra for $5 bucks; more about Sinatra having his teeth knocked out;
a politician with a sense of propriety (thank you Government Affairs Counsel Corey Bearak for that one); 
an impertinent youngster’s encounter with Margaret Thatcher - not sure what Raj Goel (Brainlink) was going to do with her Spy Files. 
and Walter Cronkite’s endoscopy - apparently his calm and steady demeanor was reserved for television cameras only.
Just between us, our Delegator in Chief, Fred Klein (Klein Zelman Rothermel Jacobs and Schess) didn’t delegate shenanigans back in the day. 

This was a tough one to capture … the stories were stirring, hilarious and if one didn’t know these folks, unbelievable. 

This reporter has heard it said, "you never know how soon it will be too late.” 

With Christmas this Friday, there is no official Gotham Happy Hour and no word from the powers over such things as to whether there will be Gotham Happy Hour on New Years Day. 

Thus, if you haven’t been to a Happy Hour opportunity in 2020, it might be too late. Alas, all is not lost. We will resume officially for sure in 2021, so stay tuned.

Until then, on behalf of me and the rest of the Happy Hour Crew, have a healthy, happy and joy-filled holiday and a prosperous New Year. 

Oh, and one more thing … Last week I wrote about Raj being back in his home after extensive fire repairs … we had a bit of show (mercifully not too much) and tell…
