[Fredslist] WOW! Gotham Business Power!

Gotham at it’s best keeps getting better! This morning Gotham Power Breakfast and Gotham Business Breakfast had a joint meeting. We learned, we laughed and we took care of business. 

Thank you Vincent Chirico for inviting our guest speaker, Professor Kirk Burkhalter, who shared his insight on policing - past, present and future. Kirk is an engaging speaker and fit right in as we moved from his presentation to ways we as business professionals can be part of the greater conversation and then we talked about what we are all reading. We in Gotham are very nimble when it comes to covering a wide range of topics in a short time. 

Thank you to all who attended - members, guests and circuit riders! As always we had time to go around the Zoom and talk about ourselves - reminding each other what we do, who we are looking to meet, how Gotham can help us. Getting to know each other is so valuable! For example, Brad Scherer, was able to step up and play Dan Schwartz who had to step away just as I called his turn - Brad really did know Dan's “pitch.” 

Thank you Corey for being our photographer and my eyes and ears during the meeting, making sure I didn't miss anything. 

I hope to see you at the Happy Hour Friday and at the Bring a Friend event on August 20th @ noon.
