Gotham’s COVID 19 Phone-in yesterday sizzled with tales and expert insights from the COVID 19 Frontlines in our area. Hosted by Stephen Scully, the conversation started with participants’ shared experiences. Tessa Marquis who is in California mentioned that her Connecticut doctor could not give advice across state lines and Ben Geizahls later explained that Tele-Med regs are now relaxed and will have to be permanently changed. This brings into question the future of HIPPA Regs. Kelly observed the sharply increasing rise in violent crime which Scott Bloom and others confirmed.  Wondering what happened to your PPP? Scott Bloom noted that BIG BANKS gave to the big guys first. Smaller banks are more user-friendly. M&T Bank saw that 93% of customers received their PPP BUT you need to be a customer. Corey Bearak was fresh from a phone call with US Congresswoman Rep. Carolyn Maloney and confirmed the nearly $500 billion increase to the Small Business Relief Package. Labor attorney Nancy Schess elaborated on the new COVID-Prevention risk protocols soon to be mandated in the workplace
