[Fredslist] Gotham Business Power or is it Power Business ...

I am so grateful for this Gotham tribe! This morning we enjoyed the Gotham Business Power Breakfast - a joint meeting with The Gotham Power Breakfast Group (based at the Brooklyn Chamber)and Gotham Business Breakfast Group (based in Manhattan.) Thank you Power Breakfast Group Chair, Corey Bearak and Group Coordinator, Vincent Chirico, Esq for making it all possible.

We had a packed screen - lots of great info and insights. There was a special appearance by the Key West Rooster and Fred Klein joined us from the Keys as well! It was a veritable who’s who of Gotham! The overall theme was one of hope and confidence that we will be ok. 

Stephany Shalofsky of the Organizing Zone shared a useful tip reminding us that with the increased number of Zoom meetings each day, it's getting more and more difficult to get work done. She suggested we identify those tasks that can be done in the 15-60 minute chunks between meetings. Put them on a post-it and keep the note on your computer. During each break, focus exclusively on one task and get it checked off your list. 

Thank you circuit riders! Being able to have us all "together” irrespective of geographic distance is great! Carly Meyer Bentley was able to join us from Philadelphia - look for her upcoming blog posts. 

And the meeting didn’t end on the click of the “leave” button. Vincent and Carly will be connecting with Rick Raymond. 

It was great hearing back from Rick and Alan Kreit afterwards in response to my sending the Chat and contact info. Thanks to our tekkie of the day, Jayne Latz, for making that happen. 

Jayne also reminded us that the next casual cocktails is April 27th @4:30 so sign up on the website for that! These virtual meetings are a great way to come together during these challenging times. Invite guests to come and see what we are all about. There has ever been a time when the need for connection has been greater than it is now and Gotham is all about being connected in a real, meaningful and lasting way.
