Just passing this along for a friend in case you know anyone who would be interested in this beauty.

I saw and drove in this car yesterday and can honestly say it’s indistinguishable from new.  The original owner in Nesconset, Long Island, is selling this car with just over 10,000 originl miles – that’s right, ten thousand.

After doing a bit of research, I can convincingly say it’s the lowest mile copy of this car in the entire country.  The owner is a long-time BMW car fan, having owned many.  He is exceptionally diligent about service and maintenance.  Even though there are no miles on the car, he has had the local BMW dealer, Competition BMW of Smithtown, pick-up the car once a year for an annual service.  He has also had any age-related maintence done as recommended by the dealer.  It just had a comprehensive complete service, as well.  The only possible issue I can determine is that the tires are original and should be replaced before any “sprited” driving is undertaken.  Here is more information as put together by the owner:

-       Never driven in inclement weather

-       Fully loaded and plus

-       Exterior Paint is Sterling Gray Metallic

-       Interior Black Leather with Sycamore Wood Trim

-       Convenience package with automatic climate and headlight controls, rain-sensing wipers, and auto-dimming mirrors , bixenon headlights, heated seats

-       Sport package with 18-inch Alloy wheels, sport suspension, and Dynamic Driving Control Package

-       Premium Package with power top and seats, Power Steering, Business CD and changer, Premium Hi-Fi- Sound, 10 Harmon/Kardon speakers

-       Engine: 3.0L DOHC 24 V Inline 6 Cylinder, 225 Horsepower

-       Nitrogen filled Bridgestone P225/40R/R18 run flat tires, ABS 4 wheel

-       Hand painted pin striping, custom Z4 cover and much more......

If I had room for this car, I’d grab it in a heartbeat!  That being said, I have no financial interest in the car, just trying to help a friend move it along to the next lucky owner.

The selling price reflects the “unicorn” status of this car.  Asking $18,000.  I guess one could by this or a 2012 Miata, which is about the same price.  I know which one I’d go for.

I’d be glad to put any potential buyer in touch with the seller and let them work out the rest.
