[Fredslist] Great spa resort needed

My girlfriend and I are looking to take a girls trip (almost anywhere) in
July.
She has traveled literally everywhere and anyplace she wants to go (that
her husband doesn't want to go to - I don't either).

So, we decided to do a spa - literally anywhere. We have literally looked
everywhere from NC to Colorado to UTAH to Canada and finally the best we
found was Peru - but she had to cancel that idea because her husband wants
to go there.
The problem is it is in July. She lives in Florida year round so anywhere
too hot is out.
Years ago I went to the Red Mountain Spa which I would return to in a
minute (love those Red Rock Mountains) but too hot in the summer.
We also don't want to spend $2800 /per night.

So what do we want? Beautiful area ; ideally hiking or adventure available;
upscale, spa services and relatively easy flight.
Is this an impossible request?  Let me know your favorites!!!
