[Fredslist] IP -copyrights legal issue help

I have a friend who is an judaica artist he designed a light fixture and a sculptural wood wall. The architect put his designs in the renderings of the 2 spaces. Which he says he has copyrighted and the artist has no rights to the images (renderings).  Without the art in the renderings are bare to say the least. The artist wants rights to use the image that he gave to the architect to include his designs in the images... what recourse does the artist have can he prevent these images of his art from being displayed in the architects website and other places. Can he force the architect to share the renderings?
