Fellow Gothamites,
Join me, One Earth Conservation and fellow nature lovers for a wild time on our next Wild Walk where we will take in the beauty of the wild parrots (monk parakeets, to be precise) who live at the Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY. Learn how these natives of Argentina came to be in New York City and how they are able to thrive.
This walk is facilitated by Rev. Dr. LoraKim Joyner, a wildlife veterinarian who has worked in parrot conservation for nearly 32 years in the Americas. We will join her and one another in a walk through parts of the historic Green-Wood Cemetery, where we will highlight the beauty of the wild parrots and other birds who live there.
The event is on Sat, September 29, 2018 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM EDT and is free of charge.

If you think you’ll join us, let me know so I can say hello!
Best wishes to all,
Gail
