This day is special because it is the day of the next Gotham Construction
meeting.

We have 2 speakers that will talk about a very current issue in the
Construction industry and that is the new Safety Laws.  Everyone is so
focused on it.  As Steve Goldstein said:

"This is the biggest issue facing open shop contractors and compliance
among all
contractors."


Brian Cunningham is the lawyer for the Building Contractors Association
(BCA) & Craig Noller is the Director of Member Services.  They will discuss
the new safety training law that was passed this year. The topic was
controversial because the requirements pit non-union and union contractors
again over who would be required, what level of safety training required
and who would provide and pay for that training.


Every contractor is in a "tizzy" about it.


Come and be part of the discussion and or just come to network with our
members, guests and circuit riders.
