Looking for a unique volunteer experience? Thinking about re-entering the workforce? Are you in-between positions? Seeking to work with and interact with the business movers and shakers of Queens County?
Mission Statement:
"With over a century of leadership, the Queens Chamber of Commerce fosters economic growth and prosperity in the most diverse community in the United States by promoting the interests of business through advocacy, networking and education"
Volunteer Requirements:
The Queens Chamber is looking for exceptionally detail-oriented and creative individuals with a professional and personable attitude to volunteer and assist in a variety of aspects of the Chamber's marketing, Member outreach and mission.
Responsibilities:
Make calls to Members about meetings, event attendance and sponsorships
Outreach to Members so they receive the maximum benefit from their membership
Handle miscellaneous projects as needed such as new Member packets, general office administration and working on special projects
4-6 hours per week or more and as available during the hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm daily
