[Fredslist] Assisted Living/Nursing Home Help

[Laney Sachs]

Hello Gotham friends,
I need some help - I have an elderly "aunt" who can no longer live by
herself and needs to go into a facility. She isn't a real relative but I've
known her my entire life, have Power of Attorney and am her person. There
is no one else. She is currently in a rehab facility but will eventually
have to leave.

She would prefer Manhattan if possible as she's lived on the UWS for 50+
years and the few friends she has left live in Manhattan. She is on
Medicaid.

Any help, advice, direction or ideas would be greatly appreciated since I
have no idea how to go about this. Thank you so much in advance.
