[Fredslist] Scary Internet Security Alert

  Just received pop up advising not to shut down my computer and call windows technical support, or my computer might be infected by harmful viruses.  Called # shown for Windows Tech Support, 877-392-3760, and got a sub contractor company whose name I cant understand due to agents accent
  This doesn't feel right so I'd appreciate any advice on what to do/not do ASAP.
