[Fredslist] Thank you Corey Bearak and others

Dear Tribe,

 

A long over due but very valuable and heartfelt thank you goes to Corey and
others who went out of their way to help me find a new career.  In Corey's
case, he opened doors.  Gave advice. Made suggestions.  All timely.  All on
point.  

 

I eventually found an ideal position on LinkedIn. I went outside of my
center of influence because of my interests in a different venue of
healthcare and took risks to create new relationship offering what I do
best. Opening doors that lead to opportunities for others just like the
Gotham way.

 

The well wishes that came to encourage me once I went public with my job
search was heartwarming and encouraging as well. While they couldn't offer
solutions, they wanted me to know they were rooting for me.

 

The rebuilding has just started and it will take some time, but Gotham -
including its leaders have stood with me and supported me through this.  I
cannot thank you all enough.  I will never know when or how I will repay it
but I will and as always pay it forward as well.

 

One particular effort took ten years to repay, but it happen in the past 3
months and it was huge. So you never know.  

 

It's better to give than receive and what goes around comes around.  I have
never been good at being the receiver, nor going public when in trouble.
But Gotham with members like Corey, our leadership and other always stand
up.
