I met Lyle Katz through Gotham years ago & was struck by his generosity and savvy.  Lyle was my 1st and only call when I purchased my co-op apt.  Excellent rate, fabulous service.

It was  series of firsts for me:  1st solo real estate purchase, 1st in crazy NYC real estate market, 1st without an agent (bought from the sponsor).  Lyle made it easy. When I became frustrated with all the requests for docs & website uploads he reminded me that it was his job to take on ANY frustration or anxiety  - just put it on his shoulders and relax.  I did and it worked!

One ex: I received a poor (& inaccurate) 1st appraisal had to lender to approve a 2nd one, not so easy. With Lyle's knowledge, relentless advocacy and clear instructions to me on what to do, the bank approved the 2nd (favorable) appraisal  and the rest was smooth sailing.  Couldn't have happened without him!

Great rate, great service, kept me on track without nagging, clear explanations.  I can't speak highly enough about Lyle. You need a mortgage or financing?  Lyle Katz is your go-to guy!
