A board member of your church or synagogue?  An executive with a non-profit?  A serious donor to charities? A service provider to non-profits?

If not you, do you have a friend, colleague or client who is one?

If so - you (and/or they) will want to go to  a SPECIAL GOTHAM MAD MEETING that is being held for lunch at the Club Quarters (on 45th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues) at 12:30 pm on October 31 (yes, Halloween).

During our meeting we will be hearing from JAMES SHEEHAN, ESQ., the head of the New York State Attorney General's Charities Bureau https://ag.ny.gov/press-release/ag-schneiderman-announces-new-chiefs-charities-bureau-and-newly-formed-financial In this role, Jim oversees all non-profits operating within New York State, and has been identified in the press as being involved in the aftermath of the Met Council scandal, as well as the Cooper Union problems and the problems involving the Abysinnian Development Corporation

Jim will be speaking about governance, including good governance practices and where boards of all sizes get into trouble, as well as fundraising concerns, and whatever else attendees may want to hear about.

We already have 26 people interested in attending, and plan on capping the number of people who can attend, so... sign up soon or miss out on a truly special Gotham meeting.
