[Fredslist] Naples FL Advice

Looking for some of that Gotham insight.

We are considering a second home in North Naples.  Maybe a turnkey place we can use for fun and possibly even rent out a few months in season.

Does anyone know the pluses and minuses of that area?  We know the neighborhood we would purchase in - Sterling Oaks, and we have an agent on the job.  

But we are looking for some insight.  Is this a good place for a New Yorker?  Talk me off the cliff or say jump!
