As some of you may have read today, I wrote a blog about my fear of flying. In response Gothammite Neil Hollander, whom I have never met and who is a commercial pilot, called me to discuss my fear and help me resolve it. He spent a substantial amount of time discussing with me the reasons for my fear and helping me to understand how baseless they are and how safe air travel truly is. Without ever meeting me or speaking to me before, he absolutely went out of his way to help me in any way he could.

A huge thank you to Neil and to Gotham, where our members truly live our mantra.
