[Fredslist] The Many Faces of Gotham_ A Shout Out for Brooklyn Power Breakfast

Yesterday I crossed the river, and thru the woods to the Gotham Power Breakfast in downtown Brooklyn – first Brooklyn stop on the 4 & 5 train and a short walk to the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce’s conference room magnificent view all of NYC Upper Harbor.

Things are different in Brooklyn, as they say -  a statement supported by Constance Soutwick, a Power Breakfast member and Corcoran real estate broker working in lower Manhattan and in Brooklyn.

The Brooklyn Power Breakfast group is one of the best Gotham groups I’ve visited. 

Led by Gotham’s Corey Bearak and Robert Giam, there was a noticeably and unique feel – one a bit difficult for me to put my finger on at first. Initially there was a strong welcoming of Bruce Swicker and me as circuit riders. 

As the meeting unfolded, I found a relaxed yet serious environment. Members demonstrated a strong personal connections and concern for each other’s success, which lifted my respect for the group. 

I met some great people and have several good connections and suggestions to follow up.
