Dear Tribe,
I'm not familiar with the other 501c3s awarded Gotham grants Tuesday but, if you were at the party, you learned that CPA Michael Garibaldi vetted each of the candidates to verify their good standing. Moreover, it just happened that each was educational in nature. I point withpride to having nominated Savvy Ladies during the Season of Giving Campaign as I have done for several years. Finally, the luck-of-drawprevailed.
Thought you might be interested to learn that Savvy Ladies is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit dedicated to empowering women through financial education.
Women over sixty are the fastest growing group of economically impoverished. Savvy Ladies,seeks not only to stem that tide but create a sea change in female economic empowerment through its prodigious financial education efforts and resources such as free weekly webinars, periodic seminars, newsletters and events.

We are pleased to announce that the 2017 Gotham Networkers of the Year are Carly Meyer and Susan Zinder and the recipient of our Red Bandanna Award is Jason Greenberg.

Also $5000 Gotham Foundation grants were won by Legal Outreach, Savvy Ladies, ACDS, and the Sant Bani School.  

Despite the rain it was another great party!
