BIG TENT JUDAISM Office Manager

Big Tent Judaism (BTJ) is an independent, national, trans-denominational non-profit organization reaching out to unaffiliated and intermarried families, and helping the organized Jewish community better welcome them in.

Responsibilities of the BTJ Office Manager will include:

  *   Daily management and maintenance of the BTJ office
  *   Interacting with vendors
  *   Telephone and office reception
  *   Administrative assistance to the BTJ board of directors and executive director
  *   Maintenance of daily financial records and banking


Requirements for the BTJ Office Manager:

Excellent communications and interpersonal skills;

o    Outgoing personality and willingness to reach out individually over phone and email;

o    A non-judgmental approach toward the wide variety of Jewish identity expression and practice, and a sensitivity to Jewish communal diversity including a welcoming attitude toward intermarried families, LGBTQ, multiracial/Jews of color, individuals with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, economic challenges, etc.

o    Strong organizational skills and very detail oriented; and

o    Experience with Quicken and Sales Force a plus
