[Fredslist] possible hotel issue?

Friends,

 

The friend of a friend (yes, I know - one of THESE situations) is in NYC and
staying at a hotel.  The room was robbed.  

 

The friend of a friend is asking to speak to a lawyer in case the hotel is
unable to take the robbery seriously.  

 

I may be having trouble taking this request seriously, but if you know
anyone who would handle a situation like this, please let me know so I can
pass it along.
