Thank you Fred, Nancy, Ben and Debbie for another amazing year!
It was beyond heartening to participate in last night's summitry. The warm sense of family pervaded the room. Many of us have known and helped each other for decades. Whether new or veteran Gotham leaders, we share a common tribal bond of affection as well as a mutual respect and deep knowing that something very special animates the Gotham spirit, as evidenced by our continuing growth; the Summer of Giving and Red Bandana Awards (salute to Welles Remy Crowther); Gotham Batmen; our annual summer golf outing (thank you Norm Spizz); the Battle of the Bands (thank you William Skody); the Gotham Film Festival (thank you Steven Skyles Mulligan); The Gotham Green Awards (thank you Corey Bearak and Sherry Rivera); our unflagging Networkers of the Year and all our wonderful members who, on any given day, are proudly guilty of random acts of irrational kindness and goodwill to our fellow man for no other reason than...it makes us feel good and makes the world a kinder, gentler place. I call it a love of humanity.
