[Fredslist] Walk for a good cause with your DOG!

Thank you for your past support of America's VetDogs and its events and programs.  Please help America's VetDogs make a difference in the lives of veterans by participating in the 2nd Annual Long Island Run & Dog Walk to be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016.  The 5K course has been officially measured and will leave from Old Bethpage Village Restoration. Dogs are welcome for those who wish to take a leisurely stroll.  All participants will have an opportunity to visit the Museum of American Armor, which is located in the village, before or after the race.
To participate, register online at LIRace4Vets.VetDogs.org.  All those who register in advance will receive a FREE event shirt and a reduced rate.
Your support is so important!  We encourage you to "FriendRaise/Fundraise" in your community and ask friends and family to support your efforts to raise money for veterans with disabilities. This year we have new tools to help you have success with your fundraising efforts.  After you register at LIRace4Vets.VetDogs.org, the site will lead you through the simple steps to create your own personalized fundraising page.  All those that raise $75 or more will take home an adorable plush puppy. If you complete the challenge of raising $300 or more you will also take home an America's VetDogs hat.  Grey hooded sweatshirts will be awarded to participants who raise $500 or more.
