Every company/college/group has a culture. Some are very corporate, some
have great team comradery, some are cutthroat.

Gotham's culture is Supportive. Family. Some say Tribal.

What Fred and Nancy (and all of us to a lesser extent) have created is a
place where we can be comfortable in our own skin. A place where giving is
first and foremost, but receiving becomes a waterfall over time. Where we
know we will be supported and challenged with friends that are always
pulling for you.

I have been here for about 12 years. I think that yesterday was my most
favorite Gotham day ever.

My wife, Victoria Drogin, brought three of her Mercy Business Honors
students to a HUGE Gotham Long Island breakfast. They were given a 20 minute
oppurtunity (by the very adept Lisa Waterman and the very charasmatic
Michael Garabaldi) to showcase themselves, a student run consulting
business, and the Mercy Business Honors program. One of the students was my
son Derek.

I leaned in to the students a few moments before they began and said "I know
you may be a little nervous. But you should know that these people are your
friends. They truly want to help you in any way they can. They will support
you and challenge you and push you towards success." They thought about
that, nodded and then began . with confidence.

Please read Odey Raviv's review below if you have a moment. Thanks so much
Odey. Thank you Fred and Nancy, and thank you Gotham.

Subject: OUTSTANDING LI MEETING THIS AM

Dear Gothamites,

Long Island Gotham had an overflow crowd of close to forty people, including
many first timers, this morning at Plainview's Holiday Inn.

We were fortunate to have three students from the Mercy College Business
Honors Program (Developed and Led by Gotham's own Victoria Roberts Drogin).

The students including a son of Gotham (Paul Napolitano's-Derek) described
their top flight Mercy College program (loaded with fortune 500
opportunities) and focused on their internship with Luv Michael.

Luv Michael is a unique business located in Long Island City. The founder,
a young man with autism and a talent for cooking, developed a business
selling Organic Granola. The other special factor is that Luv Michael hires
and utilizes volunteers from the autism community as workers. Workers with
autism often have the skill set that make them excellent workers! With the
extra push of the interns from Mercy, the business has grown and the granola
is already sold in many stores including ten Starbucks in Queens as well as
online.

We learned that people with autism should be thought of as potential
successful workers and that the Mercy College Business Honors Program is a
top-flight destination for students with business on their brains. (Check
into Mercy's Summer Leadership Program for rising Juniors in High School,
too.)

Our group was riveted by the presentation and knocked out by the confidence
and communication skills of the students as they deftly answered a wide
range of questions about Mercy and Luv Michael.

Check out LuvMichael.com to see how you can order the wonderful granola for
home or work.

Best to all,

Odey
