Apply for a full scholarship to The Cooper Union Outreach Pre-College Art Program Spring 2016
If you are a high school sophomore or junior in the New York City area interested in preparing a portfolio of artwork for college, apply online here <http://cooper.us9.list-manage.com/track/click?u=357c1798c3f857b1420afa943&id=fd1ea5b029&e=5769aeaba0> and attend the portfolio review on February 6, 2016 - 10am to 2pm at 41 Cooper Square (at East 7th Street and 3rd Avenue) Room 101.

Bring samples of your artwork that best represents your abilities, motivation, and interests. Include drawings from observation —those made from looking at an actual object, place or situation - and don’t forget your sketchbook! Please join us in the 2nd Floor Lobby of the Foundation building on February 9 from 6-8pm to see the outstanding artwork of our Winter session students! Refreshments will be provided. The Summer Art Intensive <http://cooper.us9.list-manage2.com/track/click?u=357c1798c3f857b1420afa943&id=9398c83020&e=5769aeaba0> program prepares students to apply to top undergraduate art schools. All participants select a two-day studio concentration, devoting the rest of the week to intensive drawing instruction and the study of contemporary art issues. Portfolio preparation classes, taught by a specialized faculty of working artists, are combined with visits to major museums and gallery districts, engaging students with the vast cultural resources of New York City.
