[Fredslist] Need Immigration Atty in CT asap!

Friends:

On Dec 21st a 69 year old German national in rather poor health came to
Connecticut with his wife to visit their daughter, son-in-law and three
grandchildren "one last time".

 

During  the flight the pressure caused him to develop a brain bleed.  About
an hour into the flight he started losing control over the left side of his
body.  He became very confused, and didn't know where he was going or where
he was. 

 

In CT they got him to Hartford Hospital ICU where he had emergency brain
surgery.  Since then he has had a seizure and there is blood around the
brain once again. They have also determined that he needs heart surgery.

 

It is doubtful that he will ever be able to go home.

 

The family has begun the paperwork to try to get him and his wife green
cards so they can stay and also for him to get medicaid. They have only got
60 days left before the deadline to stay without a Visa. They do not speak
English - although their daughter does. However, there are two main concerns
that an attorney might be able to help them with:

1.       Have they filled out the immigration paperwork correctly? and

2.       It seems that the immigration paperwork requires this man go a
specific doctor in Cromwell Connecticut for xrays and a physical . they
can't afford this and also may not be able to move him before the deadline.

I would like to find them good help and hopefully for the least cost.
