Thank you for a valuable and informative  presentation by Nancy Schess yesterday at LI Legal! Nancy gave us many helpful strategies and a survey of relevant labor and employment issues facing law firms (and many businesses) today. We learned about wage and hour claims, exempt and non-exempt employees, hiring and firing, overtime, compensation for lunch hour, employee rights, and discrimination issues. A great list of issue spotting tips!
