[Fredslist] Any suggestions for Vancouver?

Hello, Gotham:

I am thinking of planning a trip to Vancouver this spring.  My husband and I
will not have a car.  Any suggestions for which neighborhood we should stay
in?  Any hotels that you'd recommend?  I've also read that you can combine a
trip to Vancouver with Victoria-is this worthwhile or would it not make
sense without a car?
