[Fredslist] Perhaps a little Christmas Miracle 64 years later

Dear Gotham,

Today is Christmas Eve. Sixty-four years ago my parents were married on
Christmas Eve. Today I received a check for the American Diabetes
Association.

The very disease that decimated my grandparents, my parents, and my
siblings. Had my parents not married, the Gotham giving campaign might have
become something different

64 years later. Twenty-two charities might not have gotten the value
received from the efforts of all of you and this check may not have arrived
today.

Coincidences? I prefer to think it may be a little bit of a Christmas
Miracle 64 years in the making.

Thank you Gotham. Thank you Fred.

Warmest Regards

Ester Horowitz

"Impossible is just a word thrown around by small men

who find it easier to live in the world they've been given

than to explore the power they have to change it.

Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is potential.

Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing."
