[Fredslist] Welcome New Gotham First Member, Meryl Santopietro

Gotham First is pleased to announce our newest member Meryl Santopietro!

Meryl is the founder of Meryl Santopietro Interiors, an award winning design firm based in New York with clients straight down the coast to Miami and across the Atlantic to London. Meryl's portfolio ranges from classical and traditional to modern and contemporary. Passionate about her design work and committed to her loyal clients, her educational background reflects her commitment to art-a university fine arts major, advanced studies in art history at the University of California at Berkeley, certificate work at Rhode Island School of Design and American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) membership. Meryl was honored with the prestigious 2013 ASID Excellence in Design Award from the organization's New England Chapter.

Meryl's firm has had the privilege to work in some of the City's most desirable buildings and to expand her Firm to include two of her daughters, Joy and Alessandra. Recently they completed renovations to a classic Park Avenue residence, and a new full floor residence at The Charles, as well as multiple apartments in the West Village at The Printing House.

Currently, they are busy working with James Ramsey and RAAD Architects on a beach house at the Jersey Shore, a renovation to a Fifth Avenue pied-a-terre, the lobby of The Aldyn, a luxury condominium building on Riverside Boulevard and will soon begin a project in London. Their work was most recently featured in a full page ad in the NYT as an advertisement for the Printing House West Village.

Meryl's stature in the design world provided her with the platform and expertise to create the most environmentally friendly and effective home cleaning products on the market, Simply Spotless New York.  Meryl launched Simply Spotless New York in 2013, to help her clients protect and preserve their fine furnishings by assisting with the often overwhelming task of maintaining their beautiful interiors.  The collection debuted during Art Basel Miami, at the Architectural Digest Design Oasis, where the chic product line was showcased alongside the finest innovative interior design products.
