[Fredslist] HELP WANTED! Mortgage Positions Available and Looking for the Right People.

Hi Tribe,



It's proving difficult to find good talent.  I'm looking to hire loan officers and one or two support people; yet I've been having a heck of a time finding good quality talent.  I've found personal referrals have netted better caliber people than advertisements or headhunters, though I'm not opposed to working with an agency.



I've included a brief description of the positions below.  (More detailed descriptions available upon request.)  Does anyone out there know anyone?  Can anyone help?

Owner and President of a concierge mortgage company conveniently located in eastern Nassau County New York, is looking to expand our team.

Available positions include:

*       Mortgage Loan Officers:
While experience is a plus, newly licensed loan originators are encouraged to apply.  Must have their own referral sources.  Those loan originators with the right qualities can benefit from a work environment, personal growth, and income that is simply not available in a "Big Box Bank" environment!


*       Mortgage Processor:
At least one year work experience required in the mortgage industry in one capacity or another.  Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language as well as communicate effectively, proficiently, and grammatically correctly both verbally and in writing.  Strong customer service and phone skills, as these positions include a great deal of interaction with current and prospective clients in order to deliver an exceptional client experience.  Must be EXTREMELY detail oriented in order to thrive in this highly regulated industry.


*       Assistant to the President:
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Outlook, and Excel are a must.  Proficiency in other professional, financial, or database programs such as ACT! is a plus.  Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language as well as communicate effectively, proficiently, and grammatically correctly both verbally and in writing.  Strong customer service and phone skills, as these positions include a great deal of interaction with current and prospective clients in order to deliver an exceptional client experience.  Position entails administrative, secretarial, managerial, data entry, and other similar responsibilities.
