The Friars Club is at the tail end of a 100 new member drive. 87 have applied under the following bargain terms, including a number of Gotham members.  

Until the end of the year or until there are 100 new members the Friars will waive the $7500 initiation fee and there will be a 25% dues reduction for the first year: $3093.75 for those over 40, $1518.75 for those over 30 and $825 for those between 21-29 years of age.
