At this link is Santiago, one of the Co-Directors of the Wild Parrot Rescue Center in Mabita, Honduras. Listen to him speak about his work with the endangered wild macaws as he is interviewed by Dr. LoraKim Joyner. Rev. Dr. LoraKim Joyner interviews Santiago Lacuth about the care of macaws at the Rescue and Liberation Center of Mabita, La Moskitia, Honduras. The birds are being heavily illegally poached, and he helps them fly free. Rev. Dr. Joyner then asks Santiago if he will pray in Miskito for the people, the parrots, and for all life. He does. (Santiago is a leader in the church in Mabita.)

The macaws at the start of the video are free flying macaws that have been liberated and have come to eat at the Center that supports the young birds until they can manage on their own. The four macaws behind Santiago could not fly at the time of the interview, but several months later, 3 of them now can.
