[Fredslist] Potential Credit Issues for Minors

Dear all,

I know some of you have some experience with this and I have a question.

I have a client that expressed to me concern regarding their 12 year old.  The 12 year old received a call from Esurance (the insurance company) saying they were following up on an application for insurance.  The call was received on the minors cell phone.  My client took over the conversation and informed the agent that they were looking to speak with a minor and then learned that there was a supposed application filed.  The agent then proceeded to hang up.

Is there anything this person should be doing?  Should they be running a credit report on the minor?  Is there a report for the minor?  Are there any other suggestions as to what they should be doing?
