[Fredslist] Negotiating College Financial Aid Packages

Dear Members
My brother has received financial aid packages from colleges my niece has applied to.  He wants to sweeten the offers and is seeking any advice on successful negotiating methods. Kindly forward any suggestions/ contacts and I will pass them along  Thanks in advance.
