Seeking Public Relations Assistant-with SIX MONTHS - ONE YEAR EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED  Sarah Gardner Productions/ FASHION UPDATE since 1985- is
expanding its team.

We are a multifaceted, boutique Public Relations company located in
*Queens, New York*
 that promotes businesses in various industries and fields, including
restaurants, home decor, beauty, education, fashion, medical, our Shopping
tours and more.

We are seeking a Public Relations Professional in the field who is
experienced and can get placement in print, television, blogs, radio and
media outlets.

Candidate must be a team player and be able to work independently, hustle
and get RESULTS! Candidate should be passionate, assertive and creative,
with excellent writing and communication skills. The job is perfect for
someone with English, Communications, Marketing, Advertising and PR
background. At least one year experience is necessary.

Ideal candidate should have:
- Knowledge of MS Office, Social Media, and internet research
- Computer and website management (experience with HTML, video filming &
editing knowledge, Dreamweaver, blogging skills and knowledge of Cision and
Vocus) a plus
- Graphic Design, iMovie and Wordpress background is highly encouraged
- Highly organized and patient

Here at Fashion Update, candidates will receive an established client book
of contacts in traditional media outlets (TV, print, blogs) and must have
developed their own contacts as well, especially editors working with
restaurants, beauty, fashion, home decor, education, medical industry, etc.

The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
* Finding and receiving placements in traditional, established media
outlets (TV, print) monthly.
* Marketing for clients, such as promotional ideas to help increase
business for our clients
* Editing/Writing Press Releases
* Develop new Business and Client Service
* Website and Social Media updates
* Administrative tasks
* Sales opportunity with incentives and bonuses
