Kris,

Your emails have been awesome… but I am glad they a thing of the past!  It was a great event and that’s a result of everyone who organized it an attended.

With that said, I saw people taking pictures Friday night and would REALLY appreciate if you would send them to me.  Especially, pictures around the bon fire.  Bob and I would like to use them on our band facebook page.

As I have heard many Gothamites mention, I believe that we did have a great time.  I did.  Good music, acrobatics, and good friends.

Thank you for all of your appreciation of our efforts.  We had a good time doing it.

Subject: [Fredslist] Gotham East End Clambake redux

Kudos to Group Leader and Gotham "Pillar" Jason Greenberg (Public Adjustor to the stars) and his East End group for producing yet another iconic moment in Gotham history. This was my fourth consecutive trip out to the east end annual event that has become one of my top 5 events each year. Upon arrival we were greeted with passed hor 'doeuvres and beverages and an hour and a half of some excellent networking. (Even though I oftentimes feel that "I already know everyone", I was able to meet 1/2 dozen new contacts who do business on the east end and in Suffolk.

This was then followed by a sit down Lobster, Clam bake dinner with all of the trimmings. They even made a nice "Manhattan" so I felt very comfortable among the tall grass, beach sand and ocean inlet. Although there was a hint of rain in the air; it never did. After dinner we had some wonderful entertainment headed up by Peter Mangiameli (PCH  Builders) on guitar and the inimitable Robert  aka "BOB" Weir, his real name ! on lead vocals. I pitched in with some back up vocals and percussion and a fun time was had by all. We will all remember the serene evening, the fine camaraderie and one of the funniest moments in networking history when two guests chairs went backwards and the soles of their feet were the only thing you could see beyond the raging bonfire stoked incessantly by director of pyro-technics, Kris Behrman of Bayern Automation (aka fake Batman...everyone knows I'm the real Batman).

We had a great time and will definitely be back for next summer's soiree. If you've never been then put it on your calendar or bucket list...if you have been then come on back because its better than ever !
