Hello Tribe,

A client of mine is looking for an Office Manager/Receptionist/Legal
Assistant.  Please see the following job description and if you or anyone

information is shown below the description.

*Office Manager/Receptionist/Legal Assistant*

Small law firm (currently 1.5 attorneys and a full time paralegal), focused
on working with small businesses - primarily bars and restaurants, with a
busy and rapidly growing practice.

We are looking for an individual to really take charge and manage the
office and all office administration.  The office manager will be
responsible for answering phones, drafting/sending correspondence,
implementing and maintaining a filing system, implementing and maintaining
systems for ordering supplies, coordinating with our vendors, working with
the bookkeeper to track accounts receivable, managing invoicing and
accounts receivable and payable, and generally assisting the firm's staff
as requested.  The office manager may also be requested to assist with
regulatory filings (preparation/delivery) and to directly contact clients
to  information to prepare permit and license applications.  The office
manager would also be requested to assist with coordinating
design/construction vendors to finalize the office buildout, currently
underway.  The office manager absolutely needs to be comfortable in a
"start-up" environment with an open office and lots of distractions. There
is also certainly an opportunity to learn about the practice and evolve
into a paralegal/client relations role for any candidate that is interested
in getting involved in the substantive side of the practice.

*Desired Skills and Experience*

A bachelor's degree is required. Prior experience in a small law firm
environment is required.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate experience in managing a
law firm office independently, including implementing office filing and
practice systems.  Expertise with Microsoft Office/Word/Outlook is
necessary, and the candidate should have excellent grammar skills.

Familiarity with Quickbooks, Worldox and/or Timeslips would be a BIG plus.
