[Fredslist] Need a psychiatrist in NYC

Dear Gotham,

 

I'm representative payee for a young man's Social Security Disability
checks.  He's in his 20s but has been deemed unable to work, mostly for
physical problems relating to a car accident when he was young.  He's asked
me how he can get meds to deal with his mood swings:  Violently angry to
depressed.  

 

Can someone recommend a  psychiatrist who will accept Medicare?  Or one who
might see him for an initial consultation for a reasonable fee?  He lives in
the Bronx but can travel to Manhattan or Brooklyn.
