Location: The Milford Arts Council Center for the Arts (the Eastbound Train
Station). 

The venue is amazingly convenient, located in the former stationhouse at the
MetroNorth Milford stop. In addition, ample parking is available a block
away in the lot behind my office.

I am thrilled and very proud to announce that my son, Marcus, who many of
you know from Gotham, the Friars Club or his performances has just been
nominated as one of FIVE finalists for Hothouse Magazine's Jazz Awards for
Male Vocalist of the Year;  his major competition is Tony Bennett (yes, that
Tony Bennett!)!
The awards will be announced at a ceremony held at New York's Top Cabaret
Club, The Metropolitan Room, at 7pm on Sept. 16.  Go Marcus!
And, if you are free this Sunday at 7pm, Marcus is closing his summer
residency at Symphony Space's Bar Thalia (2537 Broadway at 95th) and I am
hosting a private party there at that time to honor Marcus' nomination.  I
have a few spots left and invite any Gothamite and a guest to be my guests
Sunday night.  (Free cover, food and drink included in the invitation.).
