> The Assistant Director for the Lubin Professional Experience Program reports to the Career Services Director of Westchester Career Services and collaborates closely with Lubin staff, especially the Lubin Academic Advisor responsible for the LPE program, the Assistant Dean for Lubin Undergraduate Advisement and faculty, the Career Services Employer Relations team, and other Pace departments and staff as necessary.

> Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
> - Develop business plans focusing primarily on employer development, student engagement, programming, internship placement and fulltime placement goals working in collaboration with Career Services staff and Lubin staff and faculty.
> - Assemble and present reports of department metrics (including but not limited to placements and internship and job development), in a way that contributes to making informed business decisions.
> - Responsible for the career counseling and internship and job placement of Pace Westchester Students. Caseload will primarily consist of Lubin undergraduate students, but may also include Lubin graduate students and alumni, and undergraduate and graduate students and alumni from other Pace schools.
> - Develop and present Career Services programming on Westchester Campuses primarily for Lubin students.
> - Help staff the BUS 255 courses and provide programming for all course sections as needed.
> - Collaborate closely with the Career Services Employer Relations team, Lubin faculty and staff, Pace Human Resources and other Pace departments in the development of both on and off campus internships and full time jobs appropriate for Lubin students and graduates.
> - Collaborate with Lubin Faculty in the development and/or revision of a professional/career readiness course and teach at least one (1) of the section(s) of the course per semester.
> - Collaborate closely with student business organizations especially in the development of and marketing of Lubin focused programming.
> - Represent the department at both internal and external events such as admissions events, open houses, information sessions, new student orientations, career fairs and other special events.
> - Assist in implementing and communicating all Career Services and PLV LPE goals and initiatives.
> - Other duties and projects as assigned by the Director and Executive Director.
> 
> Position Qualifications:
> 
> - Master's degree.
> 
> - 2-3 years' experience working within higher education, recruiting, human services, or business related field. Prior experience with developing business plans, providing employment assistance or job development preferred.
> 
> - Superior communication, presentation, writing, problem solving, attention to detail, organizational skills.
> 
> - Strong technical skills with knowledge of Windows based computer applications, Internet resources and web recruiting software.
> 
> - Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse student body including non-traditional and international students, as well as with internal and external constituencies
> 
> - Knowledge of career development theory and application
> 
> - Commitment to working in a team-based collaborative environment

> - Must be reasonably available when offsite.
