* Several airlines have already posted travel advisories in anticipation of a Northeast storm tomorrow. American, United and US Air (and other airlines to follow, for sure) will allow you to change your plans without penalty during specific dates. However, flights were already full in anticipation of the holiday week-end.

* If you are flying tomorrow - check with your airline that the flight is still scheduled to operate. If you have booked through a third-party website, such as Expedia or Orbitz, some reaccommodation policies may not apply.

* 24 hours prior to departure, check in online at the airline website with your 6-digit/letter confirmation code. Either print your boarding pass or send it to your mobile phone.

* Allow extra time for check-in and clearing security. MINIMUM 2 hours for domestic flights; 3 for international.

* VERY IMPORTANT - make sure you have a seat assignment. Flights are overbooked - don't assume just because you have a reservation that there will be a seat on the plane for you.

And last but not least, enjoy the holiday week-end with family and friends as we are thankful for all that we have.

sincerely,
Cheri
