What a day it was at Gotham yesterday!

First world renowned best-selling author Anna Quindlen discussed her vision and thoughts about her new book Still Life with Bread Crumbs with our book club. All agreed that Anna’s closing statement was a jewel:

"Let me just say this before I sign off: I spend most of my time in a small room on the top floor of our house, staring at a computer screen and wondering if anyone cares about what I'm creating. So to meet readers, even in cyberspace, is nothing but a pleasure, and a privilege."

"The Real Housewives come and go; books are forever. Thanks for having me."

Then last night at the Gotham Film Festival we enjoyed 140 plus minutes of pure bliss. With themes ranging from youthful “sexcapades" to religion and the meaning of life, the 11 films exhibited professionalism and creativity. My personal favorite - Masai Moments by our own Cayce Crown with an operatic score - ended the evening on a super high note! 

Many of the filmmakers and actors were among the audience. 
 
Finally with my home group changing its name to Gotham Omni or GO - we are truly on a roll!
