To my friends:

My son, Ben, his shipmates and the USS Carney have returned home safely to Jacksonville, FL after a seven month deployment.  I will be going to Jacksonville soon to see him and his fiancé.

Please remember all of our men and women in uniform who serve around the world for extended periods of time so that we can sleep safely in peace.
Also, remember all those who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we can live in freedom.
