[Fredslist] ATTENTION ALL LAWYERS-Gothamites Team Up To Present CLE Program

Each year attorneys face the annual ritual of completing their firms' renewal application for lawyers' professional liability insurance.  The way the application is filled out can unintentionally expose the firm to coverage gaps, material misrepresentation, denial of coverage and policy rescission.  To aid attorneys in this process, Gothamites Evan S. Schwartz, Esq. founding partner of Quadrino Schwartz and Bruce R. Swicker, Vice President of the Lawyers Program at Frenkel & Company will address the next meeting of the Israeloff Trattner New York Law Firm Managing Partners' Group on Thursday May 22, 2014.  Entitled "Deconstructing the Application/Risk Management," the program will be held from 8:15AM - 10:15AM at the Association of the Bar City of New York, 42 West 44th Street, New York City.
>From the standpoint of both an insurance coverage litigator and an insurance broker Mr. Schwartz and Mr. Swicker will take the participants step-by-step through a typical lawyers professional liability application.  They will point out and discuss areas of frequent misunderstanding or misinterpretation, and the potential consequences from both a legal and underwriting standpoint.  The discussion will be led by Gothamite Michael J. Garibaldi, CPA/ABV/CFF/CGMA, President and CEO of Israeloff, Trattner.  Designed for transitional and non-transitional attorneys, there is no fee for this meeting, which is open only to law firm managing partners and their representatives.
